At the onset of the Second World War, Wilfried Wils finds himself navigating the tumultuous streets of Antwerp as an auxiliary policeman. Amidst the backdrop of violence and suspicion gripping the city, Wilfried treads cautiously, striving to navigate the treacherous terrain without compromising his principles. This delicate balancing act becomes even more fraught as Wilfried’s love interest, Yvette, is the sister of Lode, further entangling his loyalties.
As the persecution of Jews intensifies, Wilfried grapples with the moral quandaries of survival in a time of moral ambiguity.
